Stroke - The Aftermath

In December 1995, at the age of 42 years, I was victim of a severe stroke which affected my right side totally.

As by wonder, I survived the stroke without major implications.

But ever since, I produce an abundant amount of saliva in my mouth. Even when taking care when talking to somebody, I still have amounts of saliva coming out of my mouth.

Worse is my sleep or rest. Wherever I lay my head to sleep or to rest, a big spot of saliva is left behind.

Are there others who suffer from the same symptoms and more important to me, did you find a medication to control the over producing of saliva?

ck with a dds. for the drug they have to dry a patients mouth so they can operate also ck for chinese herbs

Hi. Is there any hope to recover from left lenticular stroke? My daughter is only 34 years old and as of 1 month ago she is not responding, talking, swallowing, etc... 4 years ago she had a stroke on the other side of her brain. Thanks for any information.
