Stopping Usage Of Thyronorm (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have been taking Thyronorm 75 mcg for the past 8 months. When will I be able to totally stop taking it, and when will my thyroid levels be normal again? Also, what are the potential side effects of long-term usage of this tablet?

I am a 53-year-old male service holder who has been taking Thyronorm 100 mcg for the past 3 years. I have been experiencing total weakness mainly in both legs, pain all over the body, and lethargy. I also have an indigestion problem and a tendency for diarrhea. I have noticed that coconut water, milk, and vitamin complex cause diarrhea. Which vitamins should I continue taking along with Thyronorm?
Devin, if you have a Thyroid disorder, you might require treatment for the rest of your life, many people do. It usually isn't something that can be cured.
This medication contains the Thyroid hormone Thyroxine and the side effects may include nausea, dizziness, hair loss and weight changes.
Amit, have you checked with your doctor? Your dosage may need to be adjusted.
