Stopping Imipram 10

I have only been on imipram 10 hcl 3 weeks. I hate it. My dr said stop. She didn't say gradual or not. Thank you.

Hello, Debbie! How are you? Did you stop this medication, yet?

Unless instructed to taper, she most likely meant for you to stop completely, all at once, but only she can say for sure. You weren't taking it for very long.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, confusion increased appetite and dry mouth.

What did you experience that made you hate it?
