Stopping Krimson 35 Mid-course

I've been advised Krimson 35 by the doc, but I have a function at home. The medication is going to end during that function. can i stop it now to prevent having periods at that time?

i m 24. i hv pcod. doctor prescribed me to have krimson35 from the first day of period till 21 days.i mistakenly thought my period started and had three days. but wrongly i did not have my period yet. should i just stop it. or continue. i m hving nausea everyday.

Preeti, you could stop taking it early, to induce your menstrual cycle early, unless your doctor says there is some reason you shouldn't, but missing pills in that manner means you may not be protected against pregnancy during that time, so you will need to use some other form of protection.

If you start it again, while you are not menstruating, youll need to take it for 7 days, before you will be protected again.

Anushka, it doesn't have to be started during your menstrual cycle, you can start it at any time, it will just take a week before it reaches an effectiveness level in your body to prevent pregnancy.
