Stopped Taking Chlorthalidine

I want to know how long does it take to get chlorthalidine out of my system after I stop taking it?

Hello, Esther! How are you? Why did you stop taking it?

If you were taking it to treat high blood pressure, or edema, it may not be safe for you to just stop it, unless your doctor has approved.

The NIH states that it may take a few days, or a couple weeks to full process out, depending on how long you were taking it and what the dosage was.

Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, increased urination, hypotension, and dehydration.

Well I stopped because swelling from feet went down but after 5days my feet start to swell again so I started to take again.i will see my doctor on Nov4
