I quit taking my pills in March and should have started my period April 6th and it hasn't come yet. Before I started taking the pills my periods were extremely irregular and almost never occured. I started the pills and they were right on every month and never late or early. I was just wondering that since i quit them mid march (at the end of a pack... with my drs permission) if it was normal to have my period be late?

I was only on Loestrin for 28 days (I've done this before to skip a period during a month when I have a big triathlon)...the day of the race (actually less than 28 days), i stopped taking the pill. This was over a month ago and still no period and no sign of one to come. Hmm.....before this, I was completely regular at every 28-30 days...
I was on loestrin for about 2 or 3 months. I got tired of taking bc pills and decided to prevent pregnancy naturally. Im maried and I was on oral bc, yaz, for about 4 years. I had my cycle perfectly while on yaz until my dr switched me to loestrin. Ever since then, I had one period and anotger one two months later. I havent had a cycle since and my Dr gave me a 10 day dose of proestren to force my uterus to shed. That was 2 months ago and now I feel precramps and no period. My cycle has always been perfect until this stupid loestrin.
no i havent had a cycle since i stopped taking them. I should have started friday evening and its monday and there is no sign of anything happening. I stopped taking them at the end of the packet and had the last cycle then and haven't had the next one. We have used condoms (dr told me to use those for a month to fix another issue i was having before trying to get pregnant) so i shouldn't be pregnant for any reason but haven't takena test to see either because I really don't think i am... Just kinda wondered where the cycle was.
Did you have a menstrual cycle when you stopped taking them, or shortly after you stopped?
If so, then your next cycle should be approximately 28 days later.
However yes, since they are a hormonal based contraceptive, you may experience irregularities in your cycle for awhile, due to the fact that your body has to re-regulate itself without them, now.

Have you talked to your doctor about this?
