Stomach Problems Caused By Metformin

To all that are suffering from diarrhea from taking 2000!mg of Metformin someone posted taking Metamucil every morning to elieviate this problem and I gave a try and it worked beautifully for me
It's been 3 months since I have had an issue.This may not work for everyone ,but you have nothing to lose.I tried a small container of a store brand and it had great results.One heaping teaspoon in a 8oz glass of water every morning.I really hope this works for everyone.

Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of Metformin, according the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, flatulence, stomach pain, and hypoglycemia.

Metamucil contains fiber, so it may also cause diarrhea, so while it may help some, results could be different for others.
