Stolen Oxycontin 40mg
UpdatedI got my meds last on the 7th of august 2017 and all was good. They were put in my purse and my daughter came here with her friend who's a kleptomaniac (i was told after the incident). I always divide my new meds in half and keep the 1 half in my bag, and I buried the 2nd in a makeup bag at the bottom where you can't see them unless you're looking through it. And mind you, i gave no permission to go in my purse. I got up and literally ran to get water. Came back and noticed that my bag wasn't looking right but i didn't think much of it.
So after i got some water she all of the sudden had to go and rushed out the door. So i went in my bag to pull meds out to set up my pill holder for the next day and it smacked me in the face that the bottle that i put 70 in was stolen. I know she did it cause when i searched the couch thinking maybe they rolled or whatever, but they didn't. SHE stuck the bottle where she was SITTING and crammed it in the corner of couch behind the pillow as to hide the bottle.
So i know in my gut she took it and i immediately called the police told them everything. The cop couldn't be bothered so i called back and told the desk sgt. what happened and he sent another officer who treated me with respect and said i could pick up my report on Monday, and my Dr is out till Wednesday. So thankfully i have just enough to get to the Dr and i pray he'll realize I didn't do anything wrong and replace what was taken...
I have never deviated from my pain contract and stuck to it since I've been on it... I took great strides to keep my meds safe and in the end i know this girl took them. Once she took meds from a little kid and it was liquid cough syrup. She drank all the bottles and hid them in her attic, and when her and her boyfriend HAD a fight, she showed the cops the bottles but she lied and let him take the rap. Some girlfriend and what does that say about her? I'm glad i used common sense and filed a report, especially since i follow my contract to the letter...

It is really hard to say what your doctor might do, that is entirely up to them and how understanding they might be, they have no obligation to replace the medications.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
How did things go?
