Stolen Drugs From Pharmacy

I picked up my last perscription from Walgreens for percocet n noticed right away the pills didn't look the same. I took them w/o pain releif looked up the pill number 104/44, fraud! I called police,confronted pharmacist giving fake drugs back, I called the DEA and reported this to walgreens dist office..have meds rechecked in front of u with pharmacist, any narcotics

Wow! That is astounding and I am very sorry this happened to you.

For future reference for anyone, all pills that are marked with a 44, followed by 3 additional numbers, are over the counter products.

This one in particular just contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand of over the counter, regular strength Tylenol.

Have you gotten any resolution to the matter, such as an apology, replacement medication, or etc.?

Just had this recently happen to me as well..With switching my Hydrocodone 7.5-750. Called the Pharmacy when after getting another refill and the first prescription wasn't the same..I had one left in my bottle from the previous script and not knowing exactly what they really looked like.. Both oval. So contacted the Pharamist and meeting today. extremely angry! They asked me on the phone "if I switched" with their Walgreen's Tylenol generic brand,which I only take advil products for swelling.

I called my pharmacy and they deny it. I am contacting state board. I got my oxycodones home and counted them and they shorted me 110 pills.

Wow. Do you get a 3 month supply? FYI. The pharmacist is supposed to count all class 2 Narcotics with another person. I hope you got it resolved. Calling all of the agencies will help you. Remember Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs are human, they get addicted too. That is forgivable but what isn't forgivable is stealing from patients. That's just plain wrong.
