Still In Pain

I have been taking Amox/k 875 for 5 days with little relief. Can I take Acetaminophen or Aleve with this medicine?

Yes, you can take either of those with it, as long as your doctor approves.

However, if you've had no improvement after 5 full days of taking it, then this may not be the right antibiotic to treat your infection. Have you informed your doctor? You may need to switch to a different one.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
