Hi Melissa,

From what I could gather, Belviq (lorcaserin) is meant to be used together with diet and exercise to treat obesity. However, if you aren't feeling satisfied with your daily caloric intake, it sounds to me like you may need to make some adjustments to the portion sizes that you do eat throughout the day.

When it comes to sweets though, I personally find that increasing my protein intake helps cut down on these types of cravings. There are numerous types of whole-food meal replacement bars available at natural grocery stores that are both sweet and also have a higher protein content to help curb your appetite. Additionally, eating more sweet fruits (such as medjool dates) are another excellent way to get your sweet tooth fix without having to rely on the processed sugars that really aren't healthy for you.

I hope this helps and wish you good luck on reaching your goals!
