Still Bleeding After 9 Days

I started my first pack of minastrin on the first day of my period, which was 9 days ago and I'm still bleeding. How long will this last and is this normal?

sounds like endometroisis. Our overbooked thieving medical system to busy to even ck for easy test to see. just need some kind of birth control

I'm on birth control. I've had 3 ultrasounds and it's not endometriosis. I just want to know if bleeding for 9 days is normal while on minastrin?

Yes, that can be a side effect of taking hormonal contraceptives, you may experience irregular bleeding for the first 3 months, or so. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, headache, irritability, weight changes and PMS-like symptoms.

If it concerns you, you should consult your doctor, as you may need to try a different oral contraceptive.
