Started Nordette After Finishing Period

hi. i had my menstruation on january 1 and it ended january 5. i had intercourse 2 days after but it was protected. then I decided to take nordette 21 4 days after. i was not on my period and it said to take the first pill on the first day of period but i took it anyway. will this still be effective?

Will nordette 21 be still effective even you started taking it not on the first day of your period (but within the scope of 72hrs after intercourse)? Like in my case, i had intercourse 8 days after the last day of my period an took the first pill 9 days after my last of period.

As per Nordette instruction it should be taken on your 1st day of period. But i was so focused on taking it within the scope of 72hrs so i miss the instruction that it should be taken on the 1st day of period.

Please can someone help me in my concern. Im having sleepless nights because of this.
