Stamlo-t (amlodipine And Telmisartan) Side Effects

I would like to know what potential side effects are associated with the use of Stamlo-T (Amlodipine + Telmisartan)?

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker and Telmisartan is an ARB, both of them are commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach pain.

Hello... For around 3 years, I was prescribed amlodipine 2.5 for my bp.... Recently, my doctor changed it to telma h 40... However, I started getting some intermittent itching sensations in my hand and legs and saw the doctor again... Google shows itching as a potential side effect of telma h. Then the doctor again prescribed me amlodipine 5mg; however he said he never saw any such side effect of telma h in other patients.... Also, when I google, I find telma h a better medicine for bp... It is three times as expensive too than amlodipine.... So my question is, just for solving the itching sensation, am I losing a better medicine (telma h) for bp in terms of long term safety of kidneys, etc? I saw in some queries that different medications work differently on different people, which is fine and I can understand it...But in some reviews I had seen telma h being termed as a great medicine for bp by some doctors of famous hospitals... So kindly help me remove my confusion....Thanks.
