Stalopam And Its Side Effects On Alcohol Intake

I have been taking Stalopam since Sept 2014 and I had stopped it in July 2015 on doc's advice and I again started having Stalopam from Feb 2016. I normally don't have alcohol but sometimes in 3-4 months when I am out station..will the intake be harmful or will there be any side effects? Also we are travelling in Aug for a friend's cocktail.

Drinking alcohol while taking this medication may worsen the side effects that you experience, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Thus, it really is better to not drink.

However, if your doctor approves of your imbibing, please make sure that you won't be driving or operating any dangerous machinery after doing so.
