Sprintec Skipped Placebos
UpdatedI've been on Sprintec for 5 months and I skipped my first set of placebos and I started bleeding and have been for a week now. I'm guessing its breakthrough bleeding but it's bothersome. I'm wondering if my body is just telling me I'm outta wack since I went two packs back to back. How much longer will this last I wonder? Pretty annoying.

Hell, Jackscal! How are you?
Has the bleeding stopped, yet?
Some women's bodies just can't handle the use of hormones straight through their cycle, which can cause breakthrough bleeding, or spotting.
In most cases, taking a break during your next schedule period week get it to stop.
If it doesn't, you should consult your doctor.
But a week isn't considered an abnormal amount of time for your period to last, it can go anywhere from 2 to 10 days.
