Sprintec And Possibly Pregnant?

I've been taking Sprintec for about 2 years now. I always take them around the same time everyday. Last week my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex (late Saturday night). The same day I took my last blue pill. I usually start my period 4 days after I take my last blue pill. Is there a possibility I might be pregnant? It's been 6 days and I haven't even started spotting yet.

If taken correctly, without missing any tablets, hormonal based oral contraceptives are over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy, which means they are very reliable, but yes there is that small possibility that you could still get pregnant, though it's very small.

That said, it can also be normal to have an irregular menstrual cycle, or skip it entirely, while you are taking this, since it is hormonal based.

You need to wait and see what happens, if you run a week late or more, then you should pick up a pregnancy test to check and consult your doctor.
