Sprintec Birth Control Pillss

I recently started taking sprintec birth control again after going without it for a couple of months, this time I started it on the first day of my period which is the "day 1 start" I came on my period July 22nd & I am still on, it usually only lasts 5-7 days so I'm a little scared now being that its been 20 days, there first 7 days I had a heavy flow like my normal pd but after the first 7 days it's been light and barely there, I talked to my doctor when the first 14 days had passed and she said that things like this can happen, has anything like this happend to anyone else? & ifso how long is it going to persist like this? And what should I do?

Yes, this can happen for about the first 3 months or so, while your body is getting used to these oral contraceptives. If it continues past that, or the bleeding gets heavier, you should contact your doctor, again, as this might not be the right one for you to take, now.
