Sprintec - Been On The Pill But I Stopped For A Month

So I have been on the sprinted pill for months, now I stopped for a month and I started it that Sunday. The next day on Monday I had intercourse. I haven't seen my period for a week. I'm assuming the worst but I read that sometimes when you skip a month and start again it could make your period late. Could this be the case?

And another thing is I finished the birth control pack as well that's why it was confusing

It could be either. You may be pregnant, or your cycle may just be off, because you took a break from it.

How late is your period?
