Sprintec 28 Day Oral --- Spotting
UpdatedI've been on Sprintec 28 for about 6 months. My period isn't for another week and I've been spotting the past couple of days. I've never missed a pill or skipped a period. Is this normal?

Yes, it is a hormonal based contraceptive, so it is always possible for it to cause such a side effect, even if it has never done so before.
If you've been ill, or under a lot of stress recently, that can also contribute to the problem.

Have you consulted your doctor about it?
Well it stopped and the next periods were normal. I just went to the doctor 3 days ago for a check up and now there is spotting again. I have been under a lot of stress, maybe that's triggering it. Thank you for you're reply!
