Sprintec 28 - How Do I Stop My Period?

I have been on Sprintec 28 for 3 years now. I tried to skip my period by going straight into a new pack but my period started anyway and now I'm going into day 16 of my period. How can I get it to stop?

I experienced that, as well, when I was younger and taking an oral contraceptive, unfortunately, it's just going to take time. Generally, I found that I would bleed or spot, until after my next period week, then usually things would finally settle down and return to normal.

If it doesn't stop by then, you should consult your doctor.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.
