I began taking LoSeasonique almost 5 weeks ago. I began spotting 9 days ago. Today, the spotting got heavier, almost like i'm having a period. I know this is normal for the first three months of beginning the medication. How long can I expect the spotting/bleeding to last?

I switched from trigestrel to oralcon (which I've been using for 2 months). The first month of oralcon i got my period on the 7th day of the inactive pills and i was just spotting for 3 days. I always have protected intercourse and I take my pills on time. Should I be worried? Can spotting count as a period?

There is really no way to say, medications can affect everyone differently, some people do not experience any side effects and others may experience them all.
