Flagyl contains the active ingredient Metronidazole, it is an antibiotic medication, used to treat various types of infections.

Since there will, more than likely, still be medication in your system, after 18 hours, drinking alcohol may intensify the side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness.

Thus, for several days after completing your course of the medication, you should be careful that you are not driving or operating heavy machinery, if you are also going to drink.

Sporasec contains the active ingredient Itraconazole, it is an antifungal medication and the use of it with alcohol is very similar to the above information.
