Splitting M523 Acetaminophen/oxycodone Tablets

My doctor prescribed me Oxycodone 10/325 for extreme pain. I normally take Norco 10/325 for chronic back pain. I split those in half and take half every 4 hours. I want to split these m523 oxycodone in half but there isn't a score mark like my other meds. Is it safe to split m523 pills in half? Thank you

I don't see anything which specifically says it's an extended release tablet, so in theory it might be okay to take half at a time. But that being the case, why is there no score line? I would recommend double checking with the pharmacist as they would be able to tell you for sure. Can you please share the outcome?

For reference, this tablet contains Acetaminophen 325 mg + Oxycodone 10 mg (NDC 0406-0523).

Inactive Ingredients:

- Crospovidone
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Povidones
- Starch, Corn
- Silicon Dioxide
- Stearic Acid
