Split A 176 Hydrocodone

I want to know if it is safe to split this in half? It has the line down the center for separation but I want to be sure. Thanks!!! To be more specific it's a ten mg.

Yes, it isn't time released, so it can be split in half, according to the NIH.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
