Hello 'formerdruggy', please help- is it possible to still 'have a life' after stopping SP? My husband wants to stop but he believes he will not be able to socialize and do his work anymore if he stops SP. Is it possible to give up SP and still be confident, optimistic and happy without it? Thank you..

Hi its been nice to read your comments, i got little bit confidence to leave this bloddy addiction of spasmo. i m taking it from 5-6 years. and i m now at 2-3 stripes a day. usually i take 3 times ( 3+8+6) now i m doing as 3 times ( 3+4+4) and trying to reduce it. and i dont know the future result. can u help me if i m going wrong. or what u suggest............... i feel very anxious and tired whenever i don't take it to my full revive.

folks, all those who think dicycloverine (the thing that "kicks" in spasmo proxyvon) has no side effects, are living in a dream world, one fine evenin-this dream's gonna get done, and all hell's gonna break loose.
Quit this, and find other ways of rewarding yourself. Live a filling life, and say no to drugs. Weren't you a happy person when you were a kid with no addictions? I bet you were 200 times happier than what you are today.
Be careful when you try quitting though, dicycloverine has (almost) life threatening withdrawals (although i've never heard someone die because they quit dicycloverine). The best way to quit is to taper. Reduce your dosage by 1 tab a day and hold this for two days. If you took 10 tabs yesterday, take 9 today and tomorrow, take 8 the day after and the next day. Try to make yourself feel happy with the tabs you took, try and make yourself think that you've had enough and you're as high as every other day (trust me, this works, addiction is 80% a psychological thing).
Keep tapering, until you reduce to one tab a day, and then finally, one fine evening, you'd find yourself free from the grasps of this blue pill of death, and you'll find yourself a lot more "in-control" and happy, than what you are now.
Keep in mind that dicycloverine isn't 100% a psychological addiction, and your brain develops a "chemical dependence" on the drug after prolonged use. This is the most difficult part about dicycloverine de-addiction, with a strong will power you ought to defy the psychological aspects of withdrawal, but the chemical aspect might require a physician's help. Get in touch with a doc if you think you can't do this on your own, there are medicines which aren't addictive but would reduce withdrawal. The biggest complication is "returning to drug use". Because withdrawal reduces your tolerance to the drug, those who have just gone through withdrawal can overdose on a much smaller dose than they used to take. Always keep this in mind. If you've reduced from 25 tabs a day to 2 tabs a day in course of one month, and then take 15 tabs the next day, you could kill yourself, because by the time you reduced to 2 tabs a day (one month period), your body's ability to tolerate the drug's effect has reduced as well and you probably can't tolerate 15 now, although you did fine with 25 a month earlier. Get in touch with a DOC immediately if you experience abdominal cramps or prolonged diarrhea. And for the love of god, don't redo the drug to reduce these symptoms, see a doc, he'd suggest a proper medicine. Drink lots of water when you're detoxing yourself, this helps flushing dicycloverine out of your system at a faster rate. Cheers. God loves you. :-)

hye there i was alcoholic for some years 2 or 3 dont know exactly cause i suffer amnesia now cause i left alcohol and start abusing spasmo prox it has been 6 years i took 2 to 3 strips daily and now i feel like done what i can do ?

hi im sameer..im 22years old and have been abusing myself with sp for the past six years 16 to 23 tabs a day..and cant seem to control myself without it i feel weak restless irritated and pick fights with people for the wrong reasons and mostly no reason because of this i have had 3break ups in the past two and a half years and i hate that please someone help me!!!!!!

you must take sp bcoz it gives you confidence.....but dnt tane nitrocen ........otherwise like my frnd you can lick your socks and eat 2.so dont try,,,,,,,,,only take 5sp and 3 valium,,,,you will remain cool...and no side effects ...........also weed is very good alternative.....but atleast if you are in tension take 8 sp and sleep quietly..gd bye

wockhard spasmo proxyvon has been changed the formula as compared to last batch no. it is really bad and i want a same result for that. can i get a same percentage of (opium) in any capsule, tablet. Which are easily available in delhi and ncr also. i was used to take 7 capsules in one dose earlier one now i am not even wanted to take two also but not able give up because i am taking them from last ten years.
