Sores On Back-syndopa

My father in law is taking Syndopa and has got sores on his back. Is this a side effect to this medication. please advise

Based on my research, nih.gov does list "hives" as a severe side effect of Syndopa (carbidopa + levodopa) that should be reported to your doctor immediately. Perhaps this is what your father in-law could be experiencing on his back...
