Sore Throat With Methylprednisolone?

I am on day 4 of Methylprednisolone for bronchitis which was giving me asthma like attacks. Now I have a sore throat is this a side effect of this drug? I have two days to go on it

It's difficult to say, it could be from the coughing and asthma like effects of the bronchitis. Though this medication is classified by the FDA as a steroid and it can cause dry mouth, as well as acne, nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness and insomnia as side effects, so some of those could also contribute.

Have your finished your course of treatment, yet? Are you still having the sore throat?
