I just want to know how to take Sompraz? There are 3 tablets for the morning & 3 tablets for the evening in one kit. Doctors have prescribed the same kit to me for 14 days. Do I have to take all 3 tablets collectively & at same time in the evening also for 14 days?

3 months ago I went to a gastrologist due to excessive gas forming in my stomach. He took an endoscopy of it showing gastritis... The doctor then prescribed me to take (Sompraz-IT) medicine for 6 weeks, due to severe acidity. However, till now it didn't cure the problem, so what should I do? Please help me.

And antibiotics after ..

Sompraz hp tablet , I am taking morning b before tiffin and morning a & c after tiffin, same way by evening, by this I am getting more stomach pain , is this with more mg, that stomach pain occurs,

i m allergic to penicillin. doctor suggested me Sompraz-40. is it safe. is sompraz-40 and sompraz HP are same.

Yes you take all these together at empty stomach in the morning and make sure that any other food should be taken at least after one hour similarly in the evening make a gap of one hour on either side of taking the tablets. Also try to take medicine at the same time every day with a gap of 12 Hours between each dose so that the drug level in plasma remains same.

I've been prescribed the sompraz hp kit for 14 days.... is it compulsory to take the tablet for 14 days or can I quit it after 6 or 7 days???

I am non alcoholic 54 years male. I am having fatty liver with cyst in kidney and slight increase in prostate volume. Gastro - duodenoscopy shows LA grade C esophagitis, antral gastritis with duodenal erosions, RTU+. Samples for biopsy have been taken. Kidney function test, Liver function test, Lipid profile are normal. The fibroscan results are Controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) as 374 and liver stiffness is 6.4 kPa. The sample from esophagus is +ve for H-Pylori.
At present I have been prescribed Sompraz HP kit for 2 weeks.
My query are:
1. Is my condition curable and reversible?
2. What precautions are to be taken?
3. Can there be any link in the three problems i.e. kidney cyst, fatty liver and increased prostate volume?

Sampraz hp kit tablets should be taken in such a way that middle one should be taken half an hour before break fast,and remaining 2 tablets should be taken after breakfast.
Similary remaining tablets should be taken in the same order befoe dinner and after dinner.

Now I am suffering from duodenal healing ulcer and my eosinophils is 18% and SGPT is 62.00 U/L.My Dr. told me to take sompraz hp for 14 days.Can this medicine cure the duodenal healing ulcer?and please tell me What type of food I should take?Very worried please reply.

Doctor told me that I was suffering from H pylori infection, and gave me sompraz hp kit for 7 days... I asked him whether I need it further and he said 7 days is enough... But I am confused that really 7 days is enough to eradicate the bacteria and how will I know that the bacteria is eradicated from my stomach.. same thing here are u cured can u tell me
