I just want to know how to take Sompraz? There are 3 tablets for the morning & 3 tablets for the evening in one kit. Doctors have prescribed the same kit to me for 14 days. Do I have to take all 3 tablets collectively & at same time in the evening also for 14 days?

Doctor told me that I was suffering from H pylori infection, and gave me sompraz hp kit for 7 days... I asked him whether I need it further and he said 7 days is enough... But I am confused that really 7 days is enough to eradicate the bacteria and how will I know that the bacteria is eradicated from my stomach..

Esophagus:

GE junction was met at 40 cms.Les appeared normal.Escophagus appeared normal.

Stomach:

Entire stomach was screened and showed inflamed antrum pylorus appeared deformed.Reset of stomach appeared normal.

Duodenum:

Scope was negociated upto d2.Bulb appeared deformed and inflamed.A linear stellare ulcer with clean base was seen at anterior and inferior wall.D2 appeared normal.


Final Impression:

Inflamed antrum and pylorus
Deformed pylorus
Deformed bulb
Active bulbar ulcer


am takingsompraz hp kit can this cure my ulcer...and now am problem nausea, drowsiness, stomach pain and diarrhea after taking this tablet pl update me

Yes, because this actually contains 3 different medications, Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin and Esomaprazole, so you do need to take all 3 at each dosing.

This is used to treat or prevent ulcers in people that are suspected to have the H. Pylori bacteria.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach pain and diarrhea.
