never went to dr. as thought be ok put ice pack on took strong vit.--as antibotics really mess by system up-went to dr. after 4 days -it was looking better but feel funny and leg is getting to acke down below spot-- the spot was about 2 by 4 in. place covered with tiny blister looking bumps and the 2 big blister--it was pink now a dark red and smaller--went to young dr now after 5 days and got an antibotic, it was keflex, 1 --4 x day for 10 days --dont I need one to work faster ?should I go to another dr?it has a hurting on below my leg now-antibotics bother me real bad -afraid to take it and now afraid -not to takee it but take so long to help--do ineed a stronger quicker one? Thanks--

Most antibiotics in general have a long 7-10 day dosing schedule that is very similar to Keflex (Cephalexin).

I've taken Cephalexin in the past and can certainly tell that it's a very powerful antibiotic. It just takes time to build up in your system like any other medication.

If you're really concerned though, I would also consider looking into trying natural alternatives (like Essential Oils) that can also be taken in conjunction with Cephalexin. That, and making sure you're eating healthy should be more than enough to get the job done in my opinion.

you probably should have went to the hospital for the ER because that sounds like to me that it is a bacterial infection and you probably need to be intraveneously fed antibiotics to get rid of that may take 9 or 10 days but I would definitely have that looked at you could have a massive life threatening infection
