So Today I Took 2 Hydromorphone Dilauded

So today i took 2 hydromorphone dilauded and a couple hours later took 2 vicodin. Now my mouth tastes very nasty. Is this from the medication? Or is something wrong with my teeth? Food doesnt even taste good

Unfortunately, I really can't answer these questions from just the limited information in your post.

The Hydromorphone in the Dilaudid and the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin are both narcotic opiates and they can cause dry mouth as a side effect, so that may be contributing to the problem.

For your mouth to be properly cleansed and to enable you to properly taste your food, you do need a normal flow of saliva.

How long and how often do you take medications like this?

Because there is a possibility that the same dry mouth they've caused may have caused some dental issues.

On top of the dry mouth, long-term use of opiates may also result in the leeching of minerals from the body, which softens the teeth, because it may result in your not getting the calcium you need to keep them healthy.

When I was on pain management for quite a few years, I suffered severe ongoing dental issues and I can tell you that it really does dull the taste of your food, because on top of the lack of saliva, the dental decay masks the flavors.

When is the last time you saw a dentist?

If you have been taking these types of medications for a long period of time, then it's imperative that you see one regularly.
