sine taking this medication im having severe skin itch with red spots.

Skin rashes accompanied by itching, are regarded as severe side effects of this medication.

When side effects are severe it is highly recommended that you contact your doctor immediately to determine whether or not you need to stop the medication or begin taking something else in replace of it. I have seen other posts on here with individuals experiencing the same thing, so while it's not uncommon, it is still advised that you seek medical attention if need be.

Since taking I wake up in middle of night after only 4-5 hours of sleep and am wide awake as if I have slept the whole night. I also begin itching on parts of my face and elbow area. I am wondering if I should stop taking meds or give it another couple of days which would be 5 days out of the 7 prescribed. What is more hurtful stopping or continuing ?
