I took the last tablet of tis medication yesterday. About 5ish this afternoon, I began itching and broke out in hives all over. Is it possible this condition isfrom the this medication.

I have taken 5 sulfameth/TMP DS tablets and am itching all over (no rash) and have pains in my stomach. Should I stop taking them? It is a long week-end so Doctors are not available....should I call the phamacist?

It is possible that these symptoms are from the medication, but they can also be caused by many other things.
This is an antibiotic and one of its possible side effects can be a non-allergic skin rash. It may also cause the stomach issues that you experienced Leone.
