Smoke Free For 8 Weeks

I quit smoking after 9 days on Chantix. I am 52 and started when I was 16. I started my 9th week packet yesterday. I have had no side affects, I can already breathe better and OMG how good does food taste!! I know Chantix is not for everyone, but I am thankful that it is working for me. 30 years wow, what my lungs must look like. My cravings are minimal and I have noticed that I dont think much about it anymore. I wanted to post to say, please stick with it, what ever it takes......but dont let it take your life.

Are there any other tips you can post for others that are trying to quit? It is a very, very hard thing to do and, since you were such a long-term smoker, I am sure you could provide some valuable ideas to help others.
