All medications degrade and lose effectiveness over time, that's why when you receive a prescription from your pharmacy, it has an expiration date on it.
Most tablets are given a 1 year expiration date, but this is different for liquids, they usually last only a week, or two, before they should be discarded.

Are you post to put this medication in the fridge after use? I was told nothing and it's not on the paper that comes with it.
