Sleep Disorders
Updated65 yr old life long traveling salesman living in motels town after town in stranger and strange places and always have had insomnia. Started in early 80s taking placidyl if spelled correctly then switched in 2000 to halcion. Now over the counter and I get very little sleep.

Hello, Vic! How are you?
Are you a frequent flyer, or often crossing time zones?
It is well know that doing so can cause insomnia in some people. Many people have good luck using Melatonin to help reset their internal clock and, as reported by the FDA, it is basically side effect free, though some people may experience a little nausea.
It is, however, always best to check with your physician, before taking anything.
What are you currently trying to treat it?
