Skin Rash From Taking Clavam
UpdatedI've been using Clavam 625 and have noticed that I started getting a skin rash. Is this a known side effect? If so, please advise what I can do to help get rid of it.

Also, is there any alternative to Clavam 625 that I could ask my doctor about?
Clavam contains Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, it is an antibiotic that's commonly prescribed in the U.S. under the brand name Augmentin and yes, a skin rash can be a normal side effect.
Unfortunately, the only remedy is to stop taking the medication and let the rash wear off. However, you should contact your doctor about an alternative medication to use and an antihistamine, if they approve your use of it, may help with the rash.
