Skelaxin Or Other Muscle Relaxers
UpdatedMy doctor has prescribed skelaxin for muscle spasms in my hands and feet due to osteoarthritis, it doesn't seem to help very much but I cannot take tizanidine because of serious side effects. (Hallucinations) I currently take Opana ER (10mg 3/day and Percocet 4/day)
What other muscle relaxers can be prescribed?

Hello, Toots! How are you?
Two other options would be Carisoprodol (Soma) and Methocarbamol (Robaxin).
The FDA lists the typical side effects for them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
Is there anything else I can help with?
My doctor decided on Baclofen. It seems to be working pretty well. Thanks for responding!
