Sintrom And Cordarone
UpdatedI am 63 and because of the arrhythmias the doctor prescribe to use cordarone .After 1.5 year of using cordarone the doctor says to stop taking sintrom directly ( not by minimizing the dosage) and instead to use Aspirin. Do the use of cordarone make unnecessary to take sintrom? Its ok to stop the Sintrom directly after almost 2 years of using it?

Hi, Seni!
The Aspirin he's advised you to take will work similarly to the Sintrom, since it also works as a blood thinner.
Learn more Aspirin details here.
Stopping the Sintrom abruptly, without taking anything to work as a blood thinner could cause problems, but that's likely why he told you to take the Aspirin.
However, you should check with your doctor to be certain.
Ae there any other questions or concerns?
