My dad just started Sinemet 1/2 pill of 25-100 once a day.
I read from various websites that one of the side effects is Atrial Fibrillation from taking this medicine.
I'd like to solicit your experience on the use of this drug, particularly related to possibility of causing Atrial Fib.

It has been known to cause irregular heart beats, according to FDA reports, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination.
Are you on any other medications? What does his doctor think has caused it?
The NIH does list it as possibly being caused by various medications, as well as various medical conditions, thus there is a chance there might be more at play here than the Sinemet.
