I want a cholestrol medication with no side effects such as weight gain , pins and needles in fingers and pains in the legs at night ## Please can you recommend a cholestrol drug with no side effect. Have been on Simvastatin terrible effects, pains in my legs, pins and needles in my hands and putting on weight. Since stopping I seem to be getting less of the symptoms. I am sleeping better now . Please can you help me.

odor ## I'm sorry, are you referring to the tablets as having an odor or do they cause you to smell something funny when you take them? Some medications, since they are basically just chemicals, do have a funny odor to them, this is not unusual.

the pill is round and peach and says 93 on one side and 7154 on the other ## This contains 20mgs of Simvastatin, a generic for Zocor, this is used to help lower cholesterol. I have been taking Simvastatin for 2 months. My legs and feet cramp terrible. Does anyone else have this problem? My husband has been taking symvastatin for two years now and is suffering from severe insomia and he's miserable. I just read that this drug is causing it. ## Do you mean Simvastatin? i take simstatin for 2 years after heart attack but when i have been sat down or driven a car for a while i find i can hardly put one foot inj front of the other for a few minutes?is this va side affect ## I had a heart attack last August and have been taking Simvastin. Jsut went back to work and had terrible leg pains. Really debilitating. Cardiologist took me off Simvastin because it can cause permanent musle damage. Side affect of this drug. Call your doctor..
