Side Effects Of Vytorin

I have been on vytorin for about 4 yrs. In the past year I have been haveing some really bad pains in the muscles in my arms just down from my shoulders. It is usually just when I wake up. I hadn't considered this as a side affect of vytorin untill I read sore muscles in this forum. I've had great results from vytorin and with the exception of it's outrageious price wouldn't mind staying on it.How can I test, without stoping it, if this is the cause of my sore muscles. Would that symptom come on after 3 yrs. or is it possible that vytorin is the cause. Thanks. Oh! is there a generic for vytorin?

It is always possible for your body to change and for you to suddenly start experiencing different symptoms from a medication you have been on.

Have you talked to your doctor about it, yet?

It is important that you do so, to ascertain whether or not it is the medication, or if there is some other cause.
