My tsh is always under control around 3.5..3.7.recently i started taking thyronorm 50mcg of abott company...n my tsh levels hv come down to 1.96.earlier i used to take thyroxine 50 mcg of glaxo ..n d levls vr 3.5...3...7...
Can i now reduce my dosage as its come down to 1.96?
I get my tsh tested every 3 mnths..
N its under control..do i hv to see a doctor often even whn d tsh levels r normal?
Can i reduce d dosage on my own if my tsh levels r lower?

Every 6 months change dose 25 or 50 mcg as per Dr. advice, if it continue 50 mcg instead of 25 mcg, what effect could happen?

I had Thyroidectomy in 2011. And I have been advised Thyronome 75 mcg
. And T3, T4 and TCH values are within the range. But I have severe insomnia. Would this be the side effect of Thyronome.

1mg is 1000mcg.
