Side Effects Of Silodal D

I am told that by taking silodal d 8mg, a person's libido will be completely affected. After stopping it, can the libido be revived again? If yes, how long it will take for such revival?

Hello, Prakash! How are you?

Lower libido is listed as a possible side effect, but I'm not reading anything that says it goes away entirely, however, there's no way to be sure how any given medication will affect any given person that takes it. Other side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA include hair loss, nausea and stuffy nose.

And yes, such side effects should go away within a few weeks of stopping it.

Dear Doctor,

I have started taking Silodosin Capsule 8 Mg since 1/9/2016. Prior to this I have been taking Tamsolin for 5 years. Now I have been told that it will completely block my libido and that I'll have to use Viagra to overcome it. Please advise.
