Side Effects Of Lortab

I dislocated my shoulder and was given morphine for the pain in the hospital. The hospital gave me a prescription for Lortab, I took two the next day. My face started to get red and now I have itching and my face is puffy. Is this just a reaction and what should I do?

loratabs make u itchy. that is a side effect...especially if u hardly take them. the redness however u may want to ask a doctor. unless the redness is from u itching yourself like crazy!!!

Lortab contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it is a narcotic pain reliever and yes, it can cause some mild itching, as a side effect.

However, with the redness and puffiness, that sounds more like an allergic reaction, so you should stop using them and contact your doctor, immediately, for an alternative medication.
