Paromomycin is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections, mainly intestinal infections.

And like any other antibiotic, improper use or overuse causes the risk of someone's developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. This could put them in a lot of danger if they develop any infections in the future. Thus, it's best to only take these medications exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
