Side Effects Of Glycomet 1gm

I have been taking Glycomet 1gm since the last two years twice daily. 1 after breakfast and 2nd after dinner. I have lost my 6 kg weight in the last two years in which 3 kg has been in the last 6 months only and my face, waist & shoulders shrunk and I'm starting to look very weak. Since the last few days, I have started feeling nervousness also. Is it a side effect of Glycomet 1 gm? My suger level of fasting always maintained 90-100 whereas PP sometimes high, up to 215-235. Otherwise normally it comes in at around 165-180. The average test report of a 3 month test (what you call) has come in at 6 which is called Good.

You should see your doctor to have this weight loss checked out. It is hard to say what is causing it, but according to the NIH, it could be due a sudden change in diet, burning muscle mass if your sugars aren't in control, excessive exercise, dehydration and many other issues.

It is normal to lose some weight, when getting your blood sugar under control, but it should not be that severe and you shouldn't be feeling nervous.

Are you on any other medications?

What types of foods do you usually eat?
