Side Effects Of Elequis

I have taken elequis for over 2 years now. I have Afib. This month my Dr added another drug - a ppi to my prescription to combat any future stomach problems caused by elequis! I take beta blockers too!
I have so many side effects from elequis - tiredness, aching joints - knees, toes and shoulder joints. Difficulty sleeping due to shoulder and knee pain.
How do I get off this drug - or at least reduce it from 5mg x 2 a day to 2.5 mg. x 2 a day?
I would really prefer to just take aspirin but don’t know if it is effective?

The beta blockers can cause similar side effects, so it's difficult to determine which one might be causing your symptoms.

Side effects to the ppi may include nausea, stomach pain, headache, and bloating.

As to the Eliquis, some people are able to lower it, or transition off of it, but only you, and your doctor can decide if it is safe for you to do so. Aspirin does work for some people, but it isn't appropriate for everyone, and for all conditions
