After taking Hyoscyamine for several days (for diarrhea), I am now experiencing moderate pain in both breasts, as well as vaginal tenderness. Are these possible side effects? If so, how long will it take for them to go away?

Below is a list of side effects associated with this medication. (Altho what you are experiencing is not listed as a side effect, it may still be associated with this medication):

drowsiness
dizziness or lightheadedness
headache
blurred vision
flushing (feeling of warmth)
dry mouth
constipation
difficulty urinating
increased sensitivity to light

Some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:

diarrhea
skin rash
eye pain
fast or irregular heartbeat

The user guidelines note that Hyoscyamine may cause other side effects that are not listed here. It states that you should call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while you are taking this medication. I definitely recommend following through with this as soon as your able to, in order to determine a solution for the problem. Side effects 'generally' stop within days (or less) after you stop the medication, till it is completely out of your system.
